Osvaldo Garcia - Head Coach
Played 3 years with the National Junior Team of Cuba. 14 Years as National Team Player for Cuba. participated in international tournaments in Europe,, 3 Central America and Caribbean Games, 3 panamerican Games, 2 World University Championship, 3 Olympic Games, 3 World Aquatic Championships and several preparation tournaments in Europe. Amongst his accomplishments are 3 Championships of the Centra American and Carribean Games, 3 Second places in Panamerican Games, Places 7, 8, 6 and 4rth in the different editions of the world championships that he participated in, 2 second places at the world University Championships.
As a coach, Osvaldo Garcia was the Cuban National Team head coach for 4 years of the 11&12 Yr Old, 13 and 14 yrs old and 15 and 16 years old age brackets. As head coach of these divisions he won the the Central American and Caribbean Games. As head coach of the Junior National Team of Cuba, he attained the 3 place in the world championships of 15 and 18 years old age brackets. Osvaldo then moved on to the major national Team of Cuba as Assistant coach and then head coach for 9 years. He then led the Cuba National Team to a Central America and Caribbean Championship, a second place in the Panamerican games a championship at the Panamerican games in 1991, a campionship at the World University Championships and a 7th place in the Olympic games.
